Pair Lorain Yellow Tall Sherbet / Champagne Pedestal Dish x2 • Indiana Glass 1929-1932 • Depression Glass “Basket” Pattern

Here’s a lovely pair (2) of vintage Lorain-Yellow pedestal Champagne/Tall Sherbet dishes made by Indiana Glass. The etched “Basket” pattern is one of the prettiest and most collectible of Depression Glass: two handled flower baskets are connected with scrolls and boughs, and the bowl fits on a square base. This pattern was produced in 1929 and discontinued in 1932.

It’s the perfect size for custard, sherbet or ice cream, naturally. They would also look charming filled with small blossoms or bromeliads at a yellow-themed wedding shower, or nuts and candies at a tea or on an ice cream buffet table.

CONDITION: Very good vintage condition: no chips or cracks or even scratches. (The line you see in the photo close-ups is the seam line.) But these are vintage, so please examine all of the photo close-ups to ensure that you can love it AS IS.

DIMENSIONS: 3 3/4″ diameter (at rim) x 3″ high

Note: I have several other pieces of Lorain-Yellow glass in my shop. Both the AMERICAN BUNGALOW and WEDDINGS & ENTERTAINING sections of my store offer a variety of vintage American glass pieces.
