Imperial Carnival Glass Windmill Dish • Scalloped Marigold

Charming Imperial Glass Marigold Carnival Oval Relish/Pickle Dish in the collectible WINDMILL pattern with a SINGLE FLOWER. The lovely pressed high-relief pattern is on the underside and is very detailed, including a church steeple, picket fence and trees. Ohio’s Imperial Glass Company produced unsigned pieces from 1910-1930, when they began marking their glass. I find no signature, meaning that this piece is a very early one.

TIP: This iridescent beauty doesn’t have to stay locked away in a breakfront. Leave it setting out on display, empty or with small soaps or jewelry, to catch the light and bounce it around the room. After all, that’s what carnival glass was made to do.

CONDITION: Very good vintage condition: no cracks, chips, or clouding. Please examine all of the photo close-ups to ensure that you can love this in its AS IS condition.

DIMENSIONS: 8 1/4″ long x 5 1/2″ wide x 2″ deep

NOTE: This item was part of a single collection, probably gathered over years, and acquired by KatesChockfullAttic at an estate sale. Most pieces were in excellent vintage condition, telling me that they were proudly displayed and cherished by their owner. You can find more vintage amber glass in ESTATE COLLECTIONS.
